Bentonite Clay -Contains
more than 70 trace minerals,

responsible for its amazing detoxifying properties: as a magnet for the toxic
elements in our body - heavy metals, pesticides, and free radicals - which are
positively charged efficiently absorbent and drawn into the porous surface of
the clay.
When mixed with water,
Bentonite 'swells up' (this is imperceptible to the naked eye) and becomes very
porous. The electrical and molecular components change and produce an electrical
charge. This enables it to absorb toxins from the pores. Toxins are drawn into
the clay through electrical attraction and then bound to the clay molecules to

revealed honey's effectiveness as an antimicrobial agent that inhibit the growth
of certain bacteria. Honey is antimicrobial for several reasons, including its
high sugar content, which limits the amount of water available to bacteria for
growth; its relatively high acidity (low pH); and its low protein content, which
deprives bacteria of nitrogen needed for growth. The presence of hydrogen
peroxide and antioxidants in honey also inhibit bacterial growth. African wild
honey is very unique and completely natural. It has not been processed in any
way, and will make a special addition to your products.
In the
ancient world, honey was used for medicinal reasons as well as a sweetener.
Until antibiotics came onto the scene in the 1930s,
honey
still had a place in treating a variety of ailments. Now, as more bacteria are
becoming drug-resistant, some doctors again making use of the healing
properties
of honey.
/ Raw
honey
contains an enzyme, glucose oxidase, that produces hydrogen peroxide when mixed
with water. Hydrogen peroxide is a mild antiseptic and can be used to treat and
clean superficial cuts and wounds. Glucose oxidase is destroyed by
pasteurization, or by intense heat, so most commercial honeys do not have this
benefit. However, the honey used in Southern Crafter’s Golden Honey Bar is raw
honey and you can take full advantage of the antiseptic
properties
of honey.
/
Honey
also contains amino acids, which can help the
skin retain moisture. Applying
honey to
the skin
lets these moisturizing
properties of
honey go to work, as well as stimulating
collagen and elastin production. This leads to smoother
skin. The
high sugar content of
honey also contributes to moisturizing, as it is a good humectant.
