African Black Soap
- This is 100% authentic African Black Homemade Soap imported directly from Togo,
Africa. We do not make this soap, because many ingredients
are unavailable in America. However, as we have had so many
request for this soap, we will add these bars in with our bulk
Shea Butter orders. These are hard to come by and supplies
are limited, as we are only able to get a few dozen at a time.
Description:
In Togo, black soap is the only homemade soap used by mothers to wash their
newborn babies as its purity makes it gentle and non-drying for their
sensitive skin. This African Black Soap is produced in small batches by
hand, using age-old traditional techniques. The authentic African Black
Soap is handmade in Togo from pure virgin oils following fair trade and
organic guidelines. The ingredients of the African Black Soap are virgin
Palm Kernel Oil, pure unrefined Shea Butter and potash produced from the
ashes of Plantain Leaves and bark from a local tree called Agow. The
high percentage of Shea Butter (48%) is one of the unique features of
this soap. In addition, there are no chemicals added as preservatives,

- This homemade soap bar was created with African Red Palm Oil that is imported
directly from Africa.
Red Palm oil is very high in Vitamins A & E and is superior for skin
nutrition and protection. This oil is rich in Beta-Carotenes--15
times more than a carrot and 300 times more than tomatoes! Just look at
its rich color. *Over time these homemade soap bars can lighten in color, but the
properties are still absolutely wonderful as described.
